Mid-Life Reboot

Many people in their forties to fifties say they spent the last 20-30 years sacrificing for their family, running the kids around and paying off their home loans.

They don’t regret it but feel they have not had time to fulfil their dreams.

They feel their best years are behind them.

And that’s sad because what they’ve done in raising a family has been so incredible.

But I want to tell them that they are now in their prime time to enjoy themselves.

Unfortunately, many have not looked after their health and may be overweight and unfit. But there is still time.

It’s not too late when you’re 50 years old to get yourself back to being as healthy as you were when you were 30 and enjoying life.

I suggest that your best years are ahead of you.

If you’re in your mid-forties to mid-fifties, and you think you’ve done the best you’re going to do, you haven’t.

And I say that from experience.

I will be 60 next year, and the last ten years have been my life’s most adventurous and enjoyable times

And I still believe the best is yet to come.

So as I move into my sixties,

I believe my life will get better and better.

I love my life because I’ve got things to look forward to.

So why can your fifties be the best time of your life?

More than likely, the kids are at an age now where they’re more independent.

You have more freedom away from the kids.

You and your partner can get out and travel more.

In the last couple of years, I’ve seen many Australians increase their wealth just with the way property prices have gone.

You’ve now got more access to funds than you’ve ever had.

So now is the time!

Take advantage of your new freedom and financial independence.

Get out there, be adventurous, and have fun.

Take that holiday, take on that challenge, and do something that will excite you.

If you’re overweight or not feeling healthy, let’s do something about that.

Let’s get you healthy.

You can, at 50, be healthier than you were at 30.

Maybe not as strong, perhaps not as fast, but you certainly can be the healthiest you’ve ever been in your life.

Suppose you decide to do that today.

Now, what we need to do is we need to change our thoughts.

So many of us wake up and have the same ideas every day.

They say we have an average of 70,000 thoughts daily, and 90% of these are the same as before.

If you have the same thoughts and make the same decisions, you will have the same experiences.

And those same experiences, just like a big loop, put us back into the emotion of feeling like we have missed out.

Feeling like the best is behind us.

Let’s take control.

Let’s control our thoughts.

Let’s control where we’re going.
